Your Role as a Business Associate:

  • Marketing / Business Development: Lead the business growth by utilizing local networks, marketing expertise, and implementing sales initiatives. Educate customers on how to use the EPCeMart e-platform, expand customer base, and maintain high momentum.
  • Local Office Operations: Set up and manage the local home office according to business demand and growth. EPCeMart will assist with legal and other commercial establishment documents as needed.
  • Marketing Resources: Allocate a minimum of field marketing resources based on business demand/plan and area coverage to effectively reach out and drive business.
  • Product Identification and Uploading Support: Use your network and marketing resources to explore the region and identify surplus/remain material from industrial and EPC projects, stock materials, used machinery, recyclable metal scrap, and materials from plant and warehouse decommissioning. Once identified, provide support to upload these items onto the digital platform for sale, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing and availability.
  • PO (Purchase Order) and SCM(Supply Chain Management) Support: Offer essential support in building an effective sellers network and obtaining commercial quotes according to the region. Assist with the Purchase Order processes and oversee Supply Chain and Project Management.
  • Part of future Business Portfolio/Growth: Business associates are crucial in enhancing a company's future portfolio by providing market research, strategic alignment, expanding market reach, accessing specialized expertise, and improving brand reputation. Effective engagement as a business associate is essential for maximizing these benefits and achieving long-term business success.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction and develop long-lasting relationships.

How does Business Associates (BA) earn money for their engagement/efforts?

Business Associates can earn a percentage from the following three streams of opportunities:

  • Identifying and uploading surplus, remain/leftover material, and used machinery onto our digital platform that results in a sale.
  • Sourcing buyers and converting them into successful sales.
  • Managing the local area post-sales (both goods and services) delivery and provide local support.
  • Any type of engagement that leads to Value additions/Sales and Sales support.

BAQ1:Could you please clarify more about Region BA, Lead BA and Support BA?

Region BA - BA identified by EPCeMart for the region under the agreement to represent on behalf of EPCeMart to facilitate and manage the EPCeMart business.

Lead Region - The region identified under the EPCeMart agreement for BA to oversee and facilitate the EPCeMart business.

Cross Region - The region outside the lead region.

Lead BA - The BA, who identify the source of product/material, source of sales lead and sources of other services.

Support BA - The BA, who support the Lead BA within the Lead region for the cross-region product/material source and sales leads.

BAQ2:Are there any charges for sellers for uploading their Surplus products?

No, there are no charges for sellers to list their products on the EPCeMart digital platform (www.epcemart.com).

BAQ3:Can I bring buyers for other area/region products?

Yes, BA can bring buyers for products listed by other area/region sellers on the platform, and every effort that convert as sale shall bring return to BAs The other/cross-region product listing/upload will be managed under cross region BA business and returns

BAQ4:I am in one region. Can I take up the other regions business as well?

Each BA will be agreed for the lead region with boundary map/key cities and industrial areas and included with the agreement. However, the business model is boundary less and purely based on effort/ connections, and the BA can perform business in another region under the Cross-region BA model, wherever support needed/requested in another region.
